We had the absolute best time at the aquarium
Jon Howarth 1 month ago

We had the absolute best time at the aquarium, we went into the pre-purchase line so the wait for very short the line into the aerial aquarium is annoying as the wait is due to taking photographs that you don't get an option to participate in and cost $35. Loved the penguin expedition which is free. It is totally amazing.

The kids loved it

The kids loved it. I would recommend going on a weekday though to avoid the crowds. We went on a Saturday morning right on opening time and it was very crowded. We loved the walk through tunnel and watching all the sea creatures swim above us.

It was ok because I thought there were more fish in the underground aquarium about 10 years ago

It was ok because I thought there were more fish in the underground aquarium about 10 years ago. There were maybe turtles and large giant sea clams but didn’t see any on the day. The starfish with touch & feel was good. I definitely like the penguins. I didn’t like the decorative in front of the giant fish tank but I like the surprise interactive stepped on beach front where you don’t get wet when you in the water.

Went to SEA LIFE last week with my family including two elderly and a pre-schooler

Went to SEA LIFE last week with my family including two elderly and a pre-schooler, we all enjoyed the whole 3 hours spent in there. Staff are so friendly and responsive when my kid urged to wee and ran for 800m with the little feet, on the way back, staff led us along a shortcut route to reunite with our grannies. Thank you so much! I am so amazed by the numerous varieties of sea creatures and impressed by the journey on the penguin boat. I'd also like to thank the diver who interacts with my son by waving his hands. One simple action melt my son's little heart, he had the biggest smile I've ever seen. Thank you.

Such a lovely experience for the whole family

Such a lovely experience for the whole family. The renovation is so worth it with the jell fish tanks, neon lights, turtle and interactive visual art being a highlight. A good two hours of exploring was a morning super well spent for us and the kids.

Great place to see some of the world's most beautiful fish

Great place to see some of the world's most beautiful fish. We had a very good time. We got to see amazing creatures and learn lots of interesting stuff. Highly recommended. Make sure you take the boat ride to see the penguins. It's worth the wait. I just wish it was longer.

Went to Sydney Aquarium with family and all of us had a really good time
Tanuja Patwardhan 3 months ago

Went to Sydney Aquarium with family and all of us had a really good time. Unfortunately, the penguin tour was cancelled due to some technical reason which didn't go well with my 4 year old as he was looking forward to it. Would visit again next year.

We went to the aquarium at the last minute
Jane Chan 3 months ago

We went to the aquarium at the last minute. My boy loves it, will go again earlier. Thumbs up for so many interactions that my kid enjoyed very much. The penguin exhibition is amazing and free penguin boat is a must. The walk under the glass is something that you can't miss too. We also love the dugong and its display tank. The only downside is the size, but what can you complain as it's located in the city, right next to Darling Harbour.
