Time

• Flights depart just before sunrise when the air is calm and stable. Meeting time is approximately 1 hour before sunrise, at Hangar 1, Tyagarah Airfield. You will be required to contact the tour operator by 5pm the evening before your flight for a weather check and to reconfirm your flight time and meeting time (complete tour operator details will appear on your confirmation voucher)
• Allow up to 4 hours for your total hot air balloon experience

What To Bring

• Wear hiking style clothing and a hat
• Don't forget your camera - make sure your camera batteries are charged
• Sturdy shoes are recommended, as feet can get wet in the early morning dew
• Sunglasses, a cap and sunscreen
• In the cooler months (June to August), wear warm clothing such as jeans, jumper, beanie and a jacket that you can remove as the morning warms up
• Ladies are advised not to wear skirts or high heels

Additional Information

• Hot air balloon flights are completely dependant upon the weather and are regulated by Civil Aviation Safety Regulations
• It may be necessary to postpone a flight at any time if the conditions are deemed unsuitable
• Due to unsafe or unforeseen weather conditions the flight cannot depart, you will be offered a free return flight
• Children under 4 years old are not eligible to fly

• You are required to contact the tour operator by 5pm the evening before your flight for a weather check and to reconfirm your flight time and meeting time (complete tour operator details will appear on your confirmation voucher)
• Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
• Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of the activity. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted
