Location
Be mesmerised as you cruise along the Brunswick River taking in the incredible sights of the beautiful setting sun in this 90 Minute Eco Rainforest River Cruise Experience. Gain entry to areas not usually accessible by boat as you enjoy the scenery of native plants and wildlife. Enjoy a cold glass of wine or beer as you watch as the local birds start to return to their roost for the evenings. Assisting you on your journey will be one of the very knowledgable tour guides to provide you with a detailed insight into the history of this great area, including interesting local aboriginal culture facts and bush stories.
Spend 2 hours rejuvenating and getting to know the wonderful Cape Byron Marine Park including Brunswick River and its surroundings packed full of ancient fauna and flora. Perfect for any occasion, sit back and relax as the sun goes down and be left in awe at the incredible history and beauty of this area on the Eco Rainforest River Cruise!
Cruises depart from the Boat Harbour at Brunswick Heads at various different times throughout the year. Cruises operating in October, November, March and April depart at 5pm, those in December to February run from 5:30pm and between May and September cruises depart at 2:30pm.

“ There’s something about nature that is so satisfyingly fulfilling. On this late afternoon, we sailed down the river which was surrounded by beautiful rainforest. Mangroves plenty, the occasional wildlife spotting which included two sea eagles and a charming sunset. It was so peaceful and scenic. I really enjoyed taking it all in with a glass of wine with my love. Afterwards, we were invited for more drinks and food by the captain. We spent the rest of the evening listening to stories of the olden days and a bit of climate change chat for good measure. It was great and will be remembered fondly Thank you Experience Oz for an amazing time.

It is great for young kids
3 years agoIt is great for young kids. Tea break is the highlight, wine and beer served and yum yum finger food. Our boy tried being a boat driver for a few minutes, he liked it very much.
“Suitable for people with walkers with assistance. Only 4 steps from the wharf to the boat access and 2 steps onto the boat deck. A carpeted loading ramp for easier access to the boat also available. (No wheelchair access unfortunately)”
